Getting ready for a test at Aberdeen South (Cove)
There are 7 roundabouts within 2 km, fewer than at 7 in 10 test centres. Expect more give way lines. Some roads nearby have limits of 60 mph or more, so match the traffic when you join. 52.4% passed here in 2025-26, close to the GB average.
A car test lasts around 35 minutes, with a show me and a tell me question and a pull up on the left. The examiner picks the roads on the day, so practise the junctions, not one route.
