Terms of service

Who we are
Driving Test Simulator is sold by Driving Test Simulator ("we", "us"). You can reach us at helperdrivingtest@gmail.com. These terms apply whenever you subscribe to or use the simulator.
What you're buying
A monthly subscription to Driving Test Simulator for £10 a month. It gives you full access to the simulator: drives starting from any test centre, town or postcode in England, Scotland and Wales, full-length mock tests with the examiner, and the replay map at the end of each drive.
The subscription is tied to the account you sign in with. It renews every month until you cancel. The free taster, a 2-minute drive from anywhere in England, Scotland and Wales, needs no account and no payment.
The subscription buys access to the simulator only. It isn't a driving lesson, and it has nothing to do with booking or paying for a DVSA test.
Who can use it
You need to be 18 or over to buy a subscription. A parent or guardian can subscribe for a younger learner.
Your subscription is personal to you, or to the one learner you bought it for. Don't share your sign-in.
Payment, renewal and cancelling
- You pay the first month at checkout, and the same card is charged on the same date each month after that.
- You can cancel any time from your account page: choose Manage billing and cancel there. You won't be charged again, and you keep access until the end of the month you've already paid for.
- We don't refund part months when you cancel. See the refund policy for when we can help.
- If a payment can't be taken, the subscription ends.
- If we ever change the price, we'll email you at least 30 days before your first payment at the new price, and you can cancel before then.
Immediate access and your cancellation rights
Your subscription starts as soon as your first payment goes through. Because it's digital content supplied straight away, you're asked at checkout to confirm:
I agree to the Driving Test Simulator terms and to immediate supply of the digital content, and understand I waive my 14-day cancellation right once it is supplied.
That means the 14-day cancellation right under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 doesn't apply once your access begins. You can still cancel the subscription at any time so that it doesn't renew. The refund policy also sets out the statutory rights that always remain.
Fair use
Use the simulator for your own practice. You must not:
- share, resell or sublicense your access
- get around the subscription
- copy, modify or reverse engineer the simulator, except where the law allows it
- scrape the site or put unusual load on the service
Any of these can end your access, without a refund.
A practice tool, not the test
Driving Test Simulator is an independent practice tool. It isn't connected to, or endorsed by, the DVSA. The marking is our interpretation of the DVSA's driving standards, and a result in the simulator doesn't predict your real result.
The DVSA doesn't publish test routes, and we don't claim to show them. Maps, signs and speed limits in the simulator can be out of date or wrong. On real roads, always follow the road signs, markings and your instructor or examiner, not the simulator.
Intellectual property
The software, the name and the logo belong to us. A subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the simulator while your subscription is active. It doesn't transfer ownership of anything.
Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the Open Database Licence. Contains OS data © Crown copyright and database right 2026. © Environment Agency copyright and/or database right 2022. Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.
The DVSA's name and marks are theirs.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the simulator running and to fix problems promptly, but we can't guarantee it will always be available or free of errors. We may improve or change features over time. If we make a change that significantly reduces what your subscription gives you, we'll tell you, and you can cancel. If the simulator stops working and we can't put it right in a reasonable time, your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply. See the refund policy.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under UK law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise our total liability in connection with the simulator is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We're not responsible for the outcome of your driving test or for DVSA decisions.
Governing law, and changes to these terms
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your own courts.
We may update these terms, for example if the product or the law changes. The version on this page is the one that applies, and the date at the top says when it last changed. If a change materially affects you, we'll say what changed rather than editing quietly.
None of this removes the rights you have as a consumer under UK law.
